Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is collected when you use PitchWits ("we", "us", "the site") at playpitchwits.com, and how it's used. We've tried to keep it plain.
Who we are
PitchWits is an independent, fan-made football games site. You can contact us at hello@playpitchwits.com.
What we collect directly
Very little. PitchWits has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not ask you for your name, email, or any personal details to play. Your game progress is processed in your own browser and is not sent to us.
What third parties collect
We use third-party services that may collect data automatically when you visit:
- Advertising (such as Google AdSense): ad providers may set cookies and collect data such as your IP address, device and browser information, approximate location, and your interactions with ads, in order to show and measure adverts. Where required, ads are only personalised with your consent.
- Analytics (where enabled, such as Google Analytics or a privacy-focused alternative): used to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (page views, which games are played).
- Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving the font files.
These partners process data under their own privacy policies. Please review them: Google (policies.google.com/privacy) and any other partner you add.
Cookies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies. For details and how to manage them, see our Cookie Policy. Where the law requires it, non-essential (advertising/analytics) cookies are only used after you give consent via our cookie banner.

PitchWits is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Where a visitor may be a child, advertising is restricted to non-personalised ads in line with applicable rules.
Data retention & transfers
We do not store your personal data ourselves. Any data collected by our third-party partners is retained and may be transferred internationally under their own policies and safeguards.

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
